Box Art and Print is in Manufacturing!

So the game is basically to the point where I am satisfied shopping it to publishers. This Rev 4.3 version is playing about the same as the last 3, but several cards are more useful in a broader array of situations, which was a problem before.

I know of 2 cards now that I didn't 5 days ago that have either a typo that lead it to being way overpowered or a miscommunication caused by miswording while editing.

Counter Culture Camping, the Edict should say -1 Trust per Figurehead, not -4, which would be game ending and stupid OP.

Likewise, Mouthpiece Journalist should say, "For Lose 1 less Trust on 1 one per turn," not, "lose 1 less Trust per Event per turn."

I'm going to blame this on my 6th major sinus infection and lung gunk issue this year my daughter brought home from daycare.

Silly mistakes like that happen when you get too close to a big project like this, too, and is why you need to have people around to check your work.

Unfortunately, there is nobody around to check my work. :p Business partner is busy keeping the business going, other team members aren't on this project, it's just me. There are thousands of people in the RHX server, but they are not here for a board game, right?

Propaganda doesn't have an audience yet.

When it DOES have an audience, people will DEEPLY CARE about mistakes like this.

That's the most troublesome irony of game development. We devs spend nearly all of our time in a state where nobody knows this project exists nor do they care. That community, and those thousands of eyeballs, only happen when the game is out there in public and ready to be paid for with huge marketing pushes. The irony is, the public who discovers such mistakes will have tens of thousands of man-hours looking for issues when it is public, when we devs only had hundreds, usually solo. You can't even pay people to care in advance, so you just hope you've caught them all yourself, knowing that's not possible.

Those kinds of game enders are a glaring oops though. So you just kick yourself, remember that this is simply a prototype to seduce a publisher, and move on with your life waiting for the box to arrive in the mail in a month.

Which is cool!
