Save Our Ship takes the game’s Firefly meets Dwarf Fortress gameplay and extends it from the ground to outer space, revolutionizing the gameplay and extending the end game into a state of perpetual play. You'll need to wear an EVA suit to survive the harsh conditions of space and keep your ship full of power and life support.
Kent did a great job, effectively turning RimWorld into a game with no definitive ending if you choose not to have one.
