Propaganda Rev 4 is online!

While not the most major of changes, Rev 4 adds iconography to every card in the game, allowing you to quickly identify the type of Events & Actions that combine with your Propaganda, Edicts, and Figureheads.

These cards are a lot easier to distinguish as being Political, Economic, or Espionage.

What counts as an opposition card is now clearly labelled.

(This is an "Opposition" Event.)

Biggest changes:

#1 -- You may now draw up to 6 cards every turn. 6 is your max hand limit. You may still carry over these cards in your hand to the next turn, but you can also discard them if needed.

#2 -- At Doomsday, Fear now acts as Initiative. The player with the highest Fear goes first, ties resolved with a coin flip.

#3 -- Formalized rules around Phases of Play. Now there are 4 Phase in the Rulebook, which help players organize their discreet actions in the game. So at first we're just drawing this turn's cards, then we are tabulating within our own Regimes,  then we start to attack other players and play propaganda/edicts that affect others at the table or engage in combat, then finally end the Round.

The End Game is now also formalized with more clear rules. This rule came from Kent while we were playtesting.

Fear now establishes Turn Order for Doomsday. Which gives Fear a reason to be useful other than a pure negative by the end of the game.

There are plenty of Actions that increase Fear, which unless you had a Dear Leader or a hand that makes Fear useful, it was always just a punishment. now Fear at least has the benefit of letting you nuke others at the table FIRST, so you may have a high negative number subtracted from your score by Fear, but you did the most damage first (if everyone doesn't gang up to retaliate against you.)

This game is now up on Tabletopia: https://tabletopia.com/workshop/games/propaganda

Tabletop Simulator: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3013237718TT:

And the Revised Rulebook is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GAUU9cLlkCpBdiNwS9LqUIlUppJcCBlqd0N6KJe8qqI/edit?usp=sharing

This is probably the version I'll print at a Print On Demand manufacturer, so we can shop it to publishers.

Patrons can get access to the freely available games above, and when i finally have copies of this game, can opt in for print version. It costs 81$ to print this game currently as a one off, 65$ if it's 10 or more games. So it'll be hefty lifetime with to equal that plus shipping, but I'll probably offer a discount for early buyers based on lifetime contributions too.
