after an unanticipated amount of holdups, my album is finally ready to enter the mixing phase. this is a huge load off my back. when will it come out? not this year. I'm going to try to pitch it to labels, but I'm not going to waste too much time if that doesn't seem like its going anywhere. I have a couple of releases planned before the album comes out.

I don't want to say much about it but I would definitely describe the album as ambitious. It takes things into new territory for me while still in the foundation of what I am known for. one hint I will give is that there is nothing on here that sounds "80s". There is definitely a uniting theme on this album, and its not the "anything goes" approach on my singles compilations (which is awesome too). Idk, artists always talk about differences they see as striking in their new works but its not always apparent to listeners.

For this album I really tried to get back in touch with what I initially set out to do when I decided to start making electronic music, but soon got bogged down by my lack of ability. I came to electronic music kind of later, I was about 23 or 24 and had been making music for some time before that.

I also really put more thought into the lyrics this time - did a lot more revisions than normal.
