Project Status Update: July 2025

An update about the status of JH projects coming in July 2025 and beyond.

Hey patrons!

Behind the scenes, we're working daily to get art ready for the community. Yet when we encounter delays, we know long silences can result in some anxiety. So that patrons know where we are at, we've prepared a production status update report.

Project Status Updates (PSU) inform our patrons what work has been completed, what's currently being worked on, and what has to wait for a time in the queue. It's our way of assuring the community that come what may, we're never idle and plowing forward on our never-ending mission to keep art flowing.

With all that said, let's get to the Project Status Update! (NOTE: Some relevant information may be repeated in PSUs for ongoing projects.)

COMIC ART

Marvel Rivals: Magic & Magnetism.

• Art status: DELAYED.

• Jobs finished: Storyboard, Sketching, Inking.

• Jobs pending: Coloring, Backgrounds, Final Edits.

• Variants: There will be two major versions, including a nude variant for Magik.

• Estimated Completion: July 6th.

• Impressions: Magneto and Magik both feature tons of detail, which is multiplied across several comic panels. Overall we're happy with the creative though, and expect this one to be well worth the wait!

EnchantedHentai Art! Jessica Rabbit: Private Dick. (Retitled: Red Herring.)

• Art status: A pinup set featuring Jessica Rabbit is currently planned.

• Jobs finished: Storyboard, Sketching, Inking, Coloring.

• Jobs pending: Backgrounds, Final Edits.

• Variants: There will be two major versions, including (mostly) nude variants.

• Estimated completion time: July 11th (CONFIRMED).

• Impressions: Jessica joins gumshoe Eddie Valiant as his new partner, but their first case involving cheating hearts leads to an extremely personal investigation!

Exclusive Art

Invincible & Omni-Man: Seeding the Empire

• Art status: Sketching begins July 10th.

• Jobs finished: Storyboarded.

• Jobs pending: Sketching, Inking, Coloring, Backgrounds, Final Edits.

• Estimated Completion: July 25th.

• Impressions: Delayed as a result of a previous poll, which placed Invincible content at a lower priority for the community. We'll continue to monitor polls and shift our production plans based on the content our patrons wish to see most! That said, this is a dense art page with a lot of action and we think it'll be a surprise hit even with those who wouldn't call themselves Invincible fans.

JH Patreon Legend Tier Request

Zatanna & Spawn: Infernal Spell

• Art status: Pre-production (planning) phase. Sketching will begin 2nd week of July.

• Estimated Completion: July 31st.

• Impressions: Spawn will give Zatanna a real magic show, unleashing the power of the NetherRealm on her witchy ass! Spawn content is wonderful to make, but intensely challenging. We'll try our best to avoid delays, but not at the expense of quality.

FUTURE CONTENT PLANS

• A DCAU Batman comic page is in pre-production. Estimated August release date.

• A Teen Titans (00's Animated Style) or X-Men (90's Animated Style) comic page may be created depending upon the results of the next JH Patreon Poll.

• Reminder: Halloween commission submissions will open in July and be available until the end of September.

More art is always being planned and will be reported in the next project status update.
