About Scenarios and Characters

Hey! Hope you’ve had a decent week. Today, I’m going to talk about how I’m approaching the scenarios, their evolution, and some related circumstances. Heads up though, there are some spoilers… but only for the upcoming patches. So, if you prefer, you can read this later, no worries!

But first, let’s talk a bit about character development.

I’m not going to dive into the story just yet, but I do want to talk about the process, skills, unlockables, other locations, and especially the characters that have already made an appearance as an introduction. I’ll explain all of this in more detail after update 0.04.

This involves a lot of story and multiple narrative branches, with the player’s decisions and their possible consequences. As always, it’s a visual novel with a significant amount of adult content, and the idea is for this approach to follow a consistent process.

About Characters

There are three specific types of characters. The initial ones (like Glair), mostly of human race; the link characters, of mixed race (half-elf, etc.); and the main characters (various races, friends and enemies). Among them, there may be characters with minor roles in the story, but their development is not a priority.

Each character has several stages:

In summary, legendary skins and excessive AOE.

It’s important to revisit this with the MC fully unlocked. You can expect something interesting... I hope.

Anyway, the initial characters will be appearing soon. The choice of which ones to develop first will be decided by voting.

About the Scenarios:

The idea of showing the character developing in a single space is a decision tied to systematic oppression. Their lack of knowledge about the story is not due to a lack of curiosity, but rather a lack of access to information. Given the significance of this information in the world, it seemed relevant to introduce it with two specific characters, who have a greater impact and appear later.

The current scenario is as follows:

The events have a correlation with each space, but they are not interactive per se. Things only happen in each specific location—massages, conversations, and happy moments. Three places, minimal interaction. That was the idea, just for the introduction.

After the upcoming patches, the first upgrade of the scenario will be introduced. The plan is to have each of the women living in the space. The area will be systematically divided into two classes: Public, with interactions such as actions with the secretary, customer service, etc., and Private, where the last two states of each character occur, and where information about the world will gradually become accessible.

For this to make logical sense and be more flexible, two things are needed: Characters and Interactivity.

For the characters, we need the right amount to fill the game spaces.

For interactivity, actions are needed. The best option is a weekly gameplay cycle, where time slots should not be left empty. Each action corresponds to a specific time slot; some races are active at certain times, etc. It will take time, but the idea is to keep every time slot occupied with activity. It’s never necessary to win over all the women, but some are needed to progress, and well… we always aim for 100%.

Activity—does it involve grinding? Yes and no. Even though there are stats, it’s not about grinding stats, is about grinding girls, about building strong emotional relationships. This will be explained in detail in the skills section in the near future.

In summary, your activity area levels up with each conquest. It’s a free roam in that specific space that you’ll always want to improve. (Access to other areas of the world will be explained later)

It’s not going to be a sandbox. We’re not going to farm $5 for sweeping something or delivering things. I don’t have the capacity to fill a map with so many activities, but I can create a contained space that evolves and fill it with dirty and beautiful things.

During development, I will share raw parts of the systems to refine them before adding content, to better understand the concept.

Lastly, I’m planning a pretty big patch for Glair’s next level.
