Something good!

This trip to Kyiv changed something in me — or maybe it simply unlocked something. I started feeling more energy, more inspiration, more inner resources.

Everyone who knows me well knows how bad I am at online communication, how much of an introvert I am. I love staying at home or escaping somewhere in nature, far away from people. They know I rarely plan more than one event a day — not because I’m picky, but because I genuinely get tired very quickly. A 20-minute taxi ride can leave me feeling completely exhausted. And I don’t even know why. You’d think that someone who spends so much time alone at home would be full of energy — because that’s supposedly where they recharge. And in a way, it’s true. But maybe I just don’t know how to hold on to energy. Or maybe I’m just not selective enough about who I give it to and how much. But… something shifted in Kyiv.

Whether I was recharged or rewired, I suddenly turned into Miss Productivity. Miss Lightning Bolt. Every day was packed with meetings, tasks, events — and the biggest surprise? Time slowed down. Before, I always felt like I was running behind. Like time was slipping through my fingers. Like I’d just sit down for coffee with a friend — and I’d already have to rush off. But this time, one hour felt like half a day. I felt like I was slightly high, but still fast and focused. Fully present. Honestly, I have no idea how I managed to handle so many events. Even my fiancé was surprised.

After Kyiv, I went to Warsaw (again, lots of meetings), then Barcelona (almost no plans — but time still stretched out like I’d been there a month, not nine days). And now I’m back in Mexico — and this superpower is still with me. I thought it was just Kyiv — my hometown, plus a long period without socializing — but this has been going on for two months now.

Am I happy? — Yes.

Do I want this to stay forever? — Absolutely.

Because with this new superpower, I finally feel like I’m living life. Like I can actually touch it. Not like before — when life was flying by, and I couldn’t quite catch hold of it.

P.S. This is my small shoot in Japan with fujifilm x100v. It was something not usual for me, and i have never shoot on it before. But colours of fuji nicely suprised me in result)

I love this set of portraits! The simple back lighting in many of the images is very effective.
