I am getting heated... REACTING TO WOODY FM x LISA | Most Exclusive Talk Ever In Thailand!

-This is my favorite interview, very different from the usual interviews. We really go in depth. And knowing Lisa's motivations, the feedback from the public and the fans is very important too. She is no longer simply an artist but her own boss, it is important to read the feedback. So that she knows what people like and don't like. -Personally, I'm happy for her if she has a good time experimenting with things. But her album is really too diverse for me, there is no real identity, I feel like I don't know Lisa. To take an example, Jisoo and Rosé have a very clear musical identity. People like it or they don't, but we know what kind of music we're going to get. - Lisa says it herself, she's taking a path that no other K-pop artist has taken, and I have the impression that she's searching for it, Jennie too, but overall, I always find a bit of Jennie in each of her songs. - I don't like the derogatory comments either. I understand that people don't like it, but they don't really give solutions or they don't clearly say what they don't like. They just spit on the artist, and that creates a bad general image of the comment. - I'm starting to put my finger on what I don't like. And it's pretty simple: I put Lisa on a pedestal. I found her really unique, and I wanted her to go in this or that register. While Lisa is just a normal girl who had her own dreams and ambitions. which was actually quite ordinary and I think that disappointed me, she wanted to make songs with her favorite stars and follow their influence and their journey. while I dreamed of seeing others follow the path that Lisa had followed since her beginnings. I wanted Lisa to inspire American artists for example and not to be inspired by them. - and I think you mentioned it DG sometimes certain fans build an image of their favorite idols and when she does not follow it they involuntarily become toxic towards their favorite idols. well that's my case with Lisa. And I think it started with her performance in Paris at the Crazy Horse. Seeing her in a cabaret shocked me and destroyed the image I had of her. - Despite all this, it doesn't change the love I have for Lisa. It's just that I'm not a fan of what she did solo on this album. It's just a personal taste, and that could obviously change with other projects. Moreover, it doesn't change my affection for Blackpink. - Finally, she's magnificent, she has an incredible smile and a crazy charm. It's not easy for her, and I think she has a lot of courage. I hope that Blackpink's upcoming comeback will be a success and maybe make me find the group dynamic that I love so much.

Woody is a great interviewer - he doesn't try to trick people into saying something they shouldn't. And, yeah, it's sad that celebrities have to guard against crazed fans or haters, or delusional people, but it's good that she talked about it because I think that a lot of folks have never considered the risks of being in the public eye, and they're very real.
