Full disclosure: Xenoblade Chronicles X has released on Switch and that is taking over a significant chunk of my free time. I might be a bit behind on things here for the forseeable future 😅 - German and Swiss Chocolate. Those are all the brands that I've known my whole life. Lindt, Toblerone, Ritter-Sport. - This is also a reminder to me to clean my own apartment because it's NOT in any sort of state that I would want my mum seeing if I suddenly kicked the bucket tomorrow 😬 - Grim Reaper having a Normal Human Conversation™. - You want to tell me that these guys have LIVED through all that technological development but have never used a mobile phone even once until 2016? I'd understand if they time traveled but this? 🤨 Well ok, my dad never understood computers, so that's kinda fair I guess. But even he had a phone and knew how to use it! - You know, with the Goblin and Reaper's interior design suggestions I could have seen Eun-tak's room turn out a complete mess but that room is NICE. - My man Deok-hwa needs to learn to not take money for granted. - That song with the familiar voice in the OST is called Love and it's indeed from Mamamoo. - He, She, Me, A Gender. That sweater is fucking iconic, I love it. - Honestly, I just live for the Reaper's vibes here while Eun-tak and Goblin are fighting 😂 - My god, he's worse with women than I am and that's saying something. - What the fuck kinda waiter in a restaurant says „welcome to Quebec“, as if the restaurant is the very first people they arrive at in that province of Canada 🤨 - Is the Goblin seeing Eun-tak's future here? - One thing I don't understand: if he's actually fallen in love with her, can't he just live out her whole life with her? And just when she's about to die, have her pull out the sword then? Why not just live a complete happy life together before you end it?

But if I say more I will be spoiling future key episodes that are best left to the creator to find out himself and unravel the story. Key point or Easter egg rather is to listen to her phone call as she is sitting there. Just a hint 😉

It gets more interesting. - The the last scene, The Goblin saw Euntak's future thru the waiter's eyes 10 years later (since he can see the future of the person when he is eye to eye with them) where she doesn't remeber him and that it was her first time abroad. Since it is the future, he ultimately thinks that he has decided to end his life because of this future. It isn't really a 10 year anniv going there as she doesn't even remember him. We'll get to that story a few episodes after. 🔥

It took Sunny and the grim reaper so long to meet that I started another kdrama they were in after this to see them together. Ji Euntak definitely goes there alone every year as a form of anniversary or mourning like you said. With the hotel food. I immediately knew that was her idea. I just assumed that the grandpa would pay for it since he was paying for her hotel. That was kind of like hotel del luna where the ghost wasn't ready to pass on until resolving one last thing in this world. I've been expecting more flashbacks to the goblin's life kind of like in hotel del luna where the flashbacks were a large part of the runtime 5 million won is about 5 thousand dollars. If I were her I'd have asked for more money. Inflation has been rough but 5k in 2016 I don't think would get you very far. I really enjoyed this episode. I was laughing through most of it. Let's hope I can get a nap in before work in 4 hours :)
