- In Running Man, there are four types of cast members. - 1. The solid members who have been there since the beginning of the show and are still there today (Jae-suk, Haha, Jungkook, Jihyo, Suk-jin). - 2. The members who stayed for a very, very long time and left due to health problems or family life that left them little time (Gary, Kwang-soo). - The temporary members who were there for a few months (Joong-ki, Lizzy, Lee da-hee, Kang han-ha). - And the members who joined the regular cast but very late in the show (Yang se-chan, Jeon so-min). - Kwang-soo's Dropkick fail was so funny, I can't imagine AJ Styles failing like that XD. - Yes, even though Jae-suk is now considered one of the best MCs of all time in South Korea. Running Man is a huge success thanks to all the cast members. The chemistry between them is incredible. They've truly become a family, and Jae-suk is perfectly aware of this. - For me, the show lost some of its luster after Gary and Kwang-soo left. Gary stayed on the show for six years, and Kwang-soo for 11. - Yes, Kang Ho-dong is in Knowing Bros. with Hee-chul, and for a very long time they hosted X-Man. Since then, they were considered rivals. Every show they were on, the MCs were compared, and for several years they competed to see who was the best MC in South Korea. That's why, for example, Idols are often asked if they're in the Ho-dong line or the Yoo line. What's certain is that both are very popular. - Suk-jin, does he think he's Matt Murdock or what? LOL

2025-04-10 12:57:25 +0000 UTCYes, Heechul is the same one who appeared in Knowing Bros. He seemed really nervous and didn’t have much presence here. He had mentioned in many occurrences that he wasn’t enjoying himself for guesting on Running Man that much from this episode alone but it got better when he made an appearance again as a guest in the later episodes. He was always known as a very witty idol, having no filter, being very close to multiple female idols/celebs and many more. You’re also right DG about Kang Hodong being that darth Vader guy from Knowing Brothers. Here is the history, Yoo Jaesuk and Kang Hodong were (and still are) considered as “Nation MCs” at a time, they had been on a show together, “X-Man” which was one of if not the most popular Korean variety show in the 2000s era (if you watch newer variety shows when they play the game to find Mafia and they mention X-man, it’s literally because of this show). Imagine having these 2 high profiles in the same show together, the rating would obviously skyrocketed. Anyway, after the show ended, they went on to host their own shows so the comparison between these two would always brought up. There was no bad blood between them but it’s still hard to cast both of them in the same show again due to their status. TMI that got mentioned in this episode that you should know because it’s an important lore that will be brought up many times is Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hye’s relationship during X-man. She is from Baby VOX BTW and was a very popular idol-turned-actress. Her most notable work was “Princess Hours” which Jihyo also starred in it. Anyway, Jongkook and Eunhye are both guests multiple times on that show and there was a time they created some kind of “shipping” or love-line in the show, so they are the most memorable pairing celebs in that era and there was also a rumor that they were actually in a relationship for real for quite a while but broken up before Jongkook enlisted in the army. Obviously there is still no confirmation or denial about their relationship until this day as this is a pretty taboo subject to talk about to both of them. Later on, this becomes a big burden to both of them especially Eunhye so they never appear on the same TV show again until this day. I won’t spoil about Jihyo seeking revenge so I will wait for next episode to talk about it.
