But I don't see a good solution to this predicament either. Sounds like thinly veiled pedophilia if you ask me. - Holy shit, this crazy motherfucker is actually swimming - I'm so glad he came back. This would have been miserable if he didn't. - Such happy moments with their newborn, yet such ominous foreshadowing in the narration. - May 1969. Less than a year after my mother was born. And my grandma had her when she was only 20. So in a sense, Ae-sun and my grandma are actually pretty close in age. Just a weird little observation I just had - The hat does look quite goofy, let's be real. - Honestly, I don't care about what bad shit might be about to happen. It's just so nice to see two people be so genuinely in love with each other at this moment π₯°

Geum actually means gold, so Gwan Sik really meant what he said about golden girl. He won in life, Geum-myeong is his and Ae Sun's treasure and gold.

IU & Bogum really delivered an iconic performance here with both the scenes in the flower field that you mentioned and the scene after he jumped off the ship. We'll see those get referenced on Korean variety shows for years to come lol
