- No, the Grim Reaper can probably see a person's previous lives when he touches them and he's saying that Sunny's previous incarnation looks like the woman in the scroll. He wasn't talking about Sunny's current incarnation and appearance. - I wish the Goblin would just tell Eun-tak โI think Sunny is my reincarnated sisterโ and get rid of any false assumptions she might have. But alas, communication has not proven to be his strong suit ๐ - The trope of reincarnations looking the same as their previous lives has never made sense to me. A person's appearance is inherited from their parents and their personality is heavily influenced by their upbringing and social surroundings. The soul might be the same on a cosmic level but of course the person themself is going to be vastly different. A queen in the 12th century is not going to be the same as a small business owner in the 21st century. I actually quite like the way this show handles that. - Man, that Park Joong-heon motherfucker is even worse than I imagined. - *send a soldier to fight for you in a war* โ *be outraged when soldier returns victorious* yea makes sense - The line about Kim Shin becoming a god to his people is funny because โshinโ is literally a Korean word that translates to โgodโ. Obviously intentional on the show producers' side but still - โpunish him for his wrongdoingsโ apparently winning wars for your king and country is now considered treason, alright then ๐๐ป - To Eun-tak's aunt: Congratulations, you played yourself. - Completely understandable on Sunny's part. Reaper doesn't really tell her anything real about himself, so she can't fully trust him. Makes sense for her to call it quits here. - New years plans: get fucked up and watch your bf fuck some thugs up ๐ฅฐ - Wait, who tf was that dude at the end? - To your discussion at the end, I'm reminded of a quote from the Twelfth Doctor in Series 9 of Doctor Who: โImmortality isn't living forever, that's not what it feels like. Immortality is everybody else dying. And you might meet someone you can't bear to lose.โ
