Early-ish access - Stary Kids 'Side Effects' & 'Astronaut' MV REACTION

As promised, we're finally doing these 2 songs, and FYI, the week after next I will be doing a special Patreon reaction covering the Side effects Studio Choom and some live stages of that song as well!

I will keep this video on Patreon until next week!

Early-ish access - Stary Kids 'Side Effects' & 'Astronaut' MV REACTION

Part of the lore in the early days with I.N was that he got replaced with a duplicate of himself. In District 9, it happened at the bus. In Astronaut, he's the only caged SKZ member who looks after Hyunjin when he runs off. It seems SKZ had jumped into this world to play and explore and then moved on again to the white world. But I.N was there in that cage. I.N is aware of the multiverse and duplicates. Hyunjin didn't know that their I.N wasn't their I.N. The other SKZ didn't yet know there were duplicate SKZ out there. They were just exploring this new megaverse and learning. Is this caged I.N their original I.N? Or are all the variations of I.N displaced now? But later, we know that SKZ rule the megaverse (megaverse, mountains, etc) and they even interact with their duplicates (circus, megaverse, etc). They are aware. And they have bonded into one and can jump into the place and time where each of the other members are, as we saw in Megaverse. This tells me I.N is returned to his rightful place. They finally united as one (as they tell us with HOP).

I listened to this on my 4.5 hour drive home yesterday because I couldn't wait. Now I'm gonna watch! Side Effects was my first SKZ song and video back in March 2020. Ugh SO GOOD. I was also beginning my cancer journey that week and SKZ found me with this song. "Side Effects" was super appropriate and hilarious. I've had many a giggle about it. Yes, I was having and continue to have...side effects. 🤣🤣 Astronaut also a very good song. The video was kinda dark. Interesting juxtaposition to the energy of the track.

Have you ever considered doing full album reviews? Honestly they’re probably a lot of amazing b-sides you’re missing as well and it’s easier than randomly grabbing them. And for songs you’ve already heard you can do like a performance you’ve never seen or something like that.
