Random Running Man Reaction: Episode 209 (EXO/SHINEE, H.O.T, G.O.D and more, CRAZY CAST!)

Oh nice, the episode I recommended won the random episode lottery haha! Personally I really liked this episode because you can see how different the 1st gen and 2nd idols are. And now in 2025 many of the 2nd gen idols are mostly acting like how all these 1st gen idols do back in 2014 (or at least they all look way more relaxed now) since they don't need to be too worried about "ruining" their image LOL Glad to see that you enjoyed it as well ^^

- At first I was sad that episode 52/53 didn't win. But after seeing the guest appearances in this episode I instantly remembered the whole episode. And yes it's a very good episode. Glad to see some of my Bias again like Soyou and Se-hun, Jung-kook or Hee-jun - It's an episode that makes me nostalgic seeing first generation idols like G.O.D, H.O.T, TURBO or Sechs-kies facing late 2nd gen/early 3rd gen idols like Sistar, SHINee or EXO is super cool. - Wow it's so surprising to see Soyou so shy?? I didn't remember that anymore. Episode 209 must have come out in 2014. Sistar had been active since 2010 and was already very popular. They disbanded at the end of 2017. From what I remember, Soyou was very confident, like all the members of SISTAR. Then I understand, it's probably because she was the only woman among the guests. The production should have invited a first-generation female idol like Boa, Lee Hyori, or a member of S.E.S, Baby Voxx, or Fin.K.L. - Hee-jun is a very stubborn person. He married another 90s idol star, a member of Crayon Pop, and they had two beautiful children. Their daughter, Jam-jam, also became popular thanks to the show "Return of Superman." - So, for Jihyo and Gary, they were very close. At first, the Monday couple was a gimmick put on for the show because the viewers loved the duo. Then they really got closer to the point that they had feelings. According to an interview with Jung-kook (also very close to Jihyo), they could have ended up together at a certain point, but Jihyo refused Gary's feelings for fear that it wasn't the right time. Then Gary ended up leaving the show, got married, and had children. - Many fans of the show were very disappointed because the chemistry between the two was really cool. Watching the show's audience dropped a little after Gary's departure, but quickly recovered a few weeks later. For me, as a big fan of the duo, it was the end of the best era of Running Man. Even if the show remained very solid and very funny afterward. Then several years later, Kwang-soo left and I started watching the show a lot less. - It's true that among the cast of Running Man, there are two players who very rarely lose, Jihyo and Jung-kook. Jihyo has indecent luck and Jung-kook often wins thanks to his strength. And when he loses, it's often against Jihyo or against women because he's either afraid to use his strength or he's destabilized.
