Balkyne: If there are only 2 options in a poll, getting over 50% is not a great achievement given 50% is the minimum you can get to win! Providing only 2 options: continue with this show or don’t continue with this show creates what is known as a false dichotomy (also sometimes referred to as false dilemma). No point in really complaining, especially not now when we are actually not all that far away from it stopping. While it does release new season far too often, josh still watches them a lot faster than they come out, and we are very close. After that it may never come back. It's 1 slot out of 6 ffs chill out

" Choosing 'no' when asked whether to continue with Taskmaster IS equivalent to choosing 'new shows'. If people choose 'no' in this poll then new shows will be up for a vote and you'll get what you want. If not then you won't.

Yes, there’s 6 other shows on this channel. There’s also 60+ other shows available to cover that are not being covered. ItsJPS used to cover QI and knew when the time was right to move on there was 279 episodes of QI. Please remember that this channel is not designed around you. You may love Taskmaster but there are others who should get the option to select a new show.

Josh must think he's been secreted away to guantamamo every Wednesday. The show is the same thing every week occasionally changing the cast with a budget of £5 and a half bag of apples per series. If you read the comment, you would realise it is me (and many others) that would like a change from this endlessly boring show. I thought I'd voice it a mock dramatic way (hinting at a mass Patreon suicide pact if the show continues) but I failed to consider those amongst us that read every word in a comment as 100% serious and factual. My mistake.

Originally on his youtube channel it was look at this it's funny, now look at that it's funny. Those days are long gone and dead. What we have now is totally different. We are inflicting on him whole swaves of content some of which he doesn't have too much affinity with. If you think he genuinely likes everything we throw at him I have a bridge in London I can sell you real cheap.

If the poll was: ‘Continue with Taskmaster’ alongside three or four other shows, and ‘Continue with Taskmaster’ won, then that’s fair enough. But right now, without giving an alternative, it’s a somewhat closed-question poll. No, no one is forcing me to watch it. My issue isn’t that I’m forced to watch a show that I don’t want to watch; my issue is that I - and others (including Josh) - are not watching other shows because they’re not getting a chance for those shows to be covered. As for people enjoying it: well I enjoy a ham sandwich if that’s the only thing on offer but if the option of a steak sandwich was made available, I’d probably choose that over the ham sandwich. Enjoying something but it being the only option doesn’t, in itself, equate to it being the best choice.

Wasn't it bad enough, that in his autobiography, 'Memoirs from Broadmoor of Saddleworth Moor', infamous mass murderer Ian Brady, hailed it as "the perfect form of torture" and mourned that it wasn't part of the BBCs schedules in the 60s? Excrement has been proven tine and time again, to have a sort of immortality and resilience, as shown by the 'The Archers' still sending all poor listeners (who happen to be on the same frequency) into comas, via the radio waves. Whoever suggested this show to Josh in the first place, deserves a swift and lingering death.... Or, to be less harsh, I pray nightly from now on that the aforementioned offender, has an attack of explosive diarrhoea in the checkout aisle of his/her preferred supermarket chain.
