The two images above are from two separate videos. The older brighter one is from my Sodom & Gomorrah video from a few years ago, covering Genesis 19. The newer one with the goat in underwear is the animation I'm working on now, covering Judges 19. Slight tangent: I sought my lovely wife's advice about whether the goat's underwear was sexy enough, and for some reason she lost the ability to speak to me for several minutes. She has only herself to blame, because after all, she chose me.
The next animation, which covers 3 chapters of Judges, starts by comparing Judges 19 to Genesis 19, Sodom & Gomorrah. In both stories, someone travels to a town and stays in the square for the night because nobody offered them shelter. An old man then offers to let them stay at his place. A gang of men then surround the house, demanding to rape the guest. The old man offers up his virgin daughter instead, which they don't want. From there, the stories diverge, but the end result is genocide in both nonetheless.
In my animated adaptation, Jeffery will notice this similarity, confront God about it, and God will reveal that Judges 19 is a "soft reboot" of Genesis 19, but that he wants to eventually "subvert expectations" with a bloody civil war in Israel rather than just nuking the cities like He did before. Oh everyone in the cities still dies, but this time it's though war directed by God, rather than fire and brimstone. Much more exciting.
