2017-10-28 20:54:01 +0000 UTCOkay, "'the depth of the pit' - 'Hey! That's my favorite Chick tract!'" I get it, now. And Gilbert & Sullivan checks one of my boxes, too. Our parents took us to see a couple of Gilbert & Sullivan performances, within an hour's drive, in the state capital, at the Virginia Museum of the Fine Arts. I was old enough to get enough of the jokes to have fun. I have a friend who can sing "A British Tar" and "The Very Model of a Modern Major General," with proper pauses, from memory, because he used to sing them while commuting in his car. Now I want to show him this video. :)

We used to get ambushed by tracts all the time, when I worked at 7-Eleven. I policed them up in a pile. My Dad didn't want them in his house, they were so crazy." Wow. I had no idea And now I'm going to watch again.

When you mentioned "Chick tract," I said "I think it's neat that Josh has a seminary degree, so he can really call out bad presentations of Christianity and Jesus himself." Then I found out how sheltered a life I've had, regarding seeing tracts created by Jack Chick.
