The Reactor Ops v0.9.4 update is here — and it’s a big one. Whether you’re gearing up for a full campaign or just want more ways to organize and field your forces, this release adds some powerful new tools to make prepping for battle faster, easier, and a whole lot more fun.
📋 Save Your Forces with Roster Management
You can now save forces straight to your account as Force Rosters, making it easy to manage, tweak, and rework your units over time.
Each roster gives you a full breakdown of Battle Value, cost, tech ratings, and equipment ratings, ready to plug straight into a Chaos Campaign or any other long-term game.

⚙️ The New Formation Engine (Procedural + Manual Modes)
Meet the Formation Engine — your new best friend for building proper, rules-valid BattleTech formations without needing to cross-reference half a dozen PDFs.
Two ways to build:
Procedural Mode: Reactor Ops automatically shuffles and sorts your roster into official formations — fast, clean, and a little bit random every time.
Manual Mode: Want full control? Drag and drop your units into the formations you want, down to the last detail.
Customize everything: formation types, names/designators, pilot ranks, warrior name styles, gender balance, and even nickname frequency.

📄 Campaign-Ready OrBat Exports
Instantly export a fully detailed spreadsheet with all your unit, pilot, and formation data neatly organized.
Your export includes:
Full roster breakdowns (formation assignments, skills, SPAs, quirks, C3 networks, and more).
Narrative details like faction, command structure, and commander names.
Force Experience Rating and Technology Modifier pre-calculated for Chaos Campaign tracking.

🗺️ Command Tree Visualization (Supporters Only)
Supporters get access to the new Command Tree feature, letting you map out your force’s structure visually.
Assign formations into command sections and build a full tree showing leaders and subordinates at a glance.
Download your tree as a PNG for quick sharing or an SVG if you want to tweak and customize it yourself.

This update isn’t just about new features — it’s packed with improvements driven directly by the Reactor Ops community. Your ideas, suggestions, and gameplay experiences have shaped much of what you see in v0.9.4.
Here’s what’s new based on your feedback:
🔹 Unified Build Page
The Search and Force pages have been combined into a single Build page, allowing for a seamless transition between finding units, adding them to your force, and reviewing your roster—all without interrupting your workflow.

🔹 Search Filter Slide-out
Search filters now live in a slide-out panel, giving you much more room to browse detailed unit data from your results, like era, intro year, and battlefield role.

🔹 New Roster View
The old Force Preview button has been replaced with a full Roster View.
From here, you can adjust warrior skills and remove units on the fly without leaving the search view—or losing your filters.

🔹 Redesigned C3 Network Builder
The C3 assignment system has been fully overhauled:
Create multiple C3 networks for Standard, Improved, and Nova CEWS systems.
Watch real-time BV adjustments update as you build your networks, fully accounting for warrior skills and C3 overhead.

With v0.9.4 out in the wild, the next few updates will shift gears a bit—smaller in scope, faster to release, and focused directly on user requests and quality-of-life improvements.
Expect more frequent updates aimed at polishing existing features, expanding campaign tools, and making Reactor Ops even easier to use for all types of players.
Thank you for being part of the Reactor Ops community—and for helping shape what comes next!
