Since day one, folks’ve been askin’ when Alpha Strike support would roll into Reactor Ops. Well… strap in. Because v0.9.5 just touched down, and Alpha Strike’s finally on deck.
New filters. New stats. New exports. Whether you’re a Classic diehard or an Alpha Strike operator lookin’ to field some fast and furious firepower, this update’s got the payload you’ve been waitin’ for. Just flip the switch in Search or Force view and you’re off to the races.
This is just Phase One, mind you—but it’s fully playable and packed with tools to make your Alpha Strike games smoother than a grease-slick hover tank.

Reactor Ops v0.9.5 introduces Phase One of Alpha Strike support, plus a full new set of force analytics charts for both Classic and Alpha Strike players.
🆕 Alpha Strike Mode (Toggle Anytime)
Switch between Classic and Alpha Strike views from either Search or Force. Alpha Strike mode updates your stats, filters, charts, and card exports.
🔎 New Alpha Strike Filters
A brand-new filter section for Alpha Strike includes:
Point Value (PV)
Movement Type and Speed
Damage at each range bracket
TMM, Armor, Structure
Specials (e.g. ECM, IF, MEL)
Hangar Vault filters also work with Alpha Strike units.

📊 New Force Analytics Charts (Classic + Alpha Strike)
We've rolled out a full set of combat-readiness charts for both game modes:
FIVE NEW Classic BattleTech Charts
BV vs. Ranged Damage per Unit – Visualize which units offer the most bang for their BV
BV vs. C-bills per unit – Analyze cost per unit for narrative or campaign play
Short-Medium Range Firepower Map – Shows how many weapons can fire at Short or Medium range at each hex (0–20) and their total damage potential
Armor Variance by Type & Tonnage – Compare your units’ armor against typical values by weight class
Full Salvo Heat Dissipation Per Unit – 'Full Salvo' (to avoid confusion with 'Alpha Strike' charts) heat generation for each unit; use to see which mechs run hot when going for max damage
TWO NEW Alpha Strike Charts
Range Damage Summary – Totals your force’s damage output at Short, Medium, Long, and Extreme
Range Damage per Unit – Breaks down individual unit damage by range for fine-tuned balancing
Charts auto-update as you change skills or swap units in/out of your force.
Note that a few key features are still on the way in Phase Two, coming later this year:
A. Saving Alpha Strike-specific rosters
B. Formation Engine compatibility with Alpha Strike
C. Order of Battle (including Command Tree) for Alpha Strike forces
D. OpFor Generator compatibility with Alpha Strike
📱 Mobile Device Enhancements
Reactor Ops is now significantly more mobile-friendly. Both the Search and Force unit lists have been redesigned for smoother interaction on smaller screens.
In particular, Search results now include a new "Detail View" layout that displays expanded information for each unit — no need to open the Unit Details modal just to get the basics. Flip each card to access stats, loadouts, movement, and Alpha Strike values directly from the results list.
This redesign makes it easier than ever to build and browse forces from your phone or tablet, whether you’re at the table or on the go.
