This short is especially timely, as fro some years now, paper phone directories have been riddled with more and more mistakes, as paper directories become less important. The Virginia government office that covers phone service has a special "tariff" on the phone companies for such mistakes. The phone company has to give a year's free service when found at fault, because it's so common. Everyone is losing, and it's sad. And no, it doesn't pay enough to deliver phone books, because most people don't know how expensive driving really is. I only tried it once, decades ago. So thanks for bringing some fun to this, and showing the days when there was actually a lot of care used for phone listings.
