Changes for 2021
Added 2021-01-06 01:34:43 +0000 UTCThis year I want to concentrate on growing my channel and patreon. I have all kinds of ideas I've been brainstorming for videos. I may be able to finish Power Corrupts this year, and if I do, I'd like to start a new series. One thing I worry about is that the "per video" option here on patreon may have been scaring people away. Since last year I posted one video a month, I thought that this year I would change my patreon to monthly so that it's clearer. I still intend to post every month, but for new people, I want it to be clear that I won't be inundating them with videos for which they will be charged. I hope that helps. Also, if I do have a very involved video that takes slightly longer than a month, at least I won't be significantly punished for not getting it out before the month's end.
I'd like to develop a more balanced approach. I don't want to bother you too much, but I also don't want to post too little. I fear I've done more of the latter, because I'm a bit of an introvert, so making any sort of posts is a bit anxiety inducing (great career choice eh?). So, any input from you is more than welcome. A post a day? Two a week? What do you think? Also, if there's any topics you'd like to see me address, I'd love to hear about it. That's one of the reasons I have this account. As patrons, I know you care about the channel, so I know your suggestions are sincere, and I'm more willing to consider them.
Hopefully I will adapt and get better at this in 2021. I'm trying to figure it all out, but the internet is an ever-changing beast. I won't compromise the integrity of my message, but I may try different methods to communicate that message and see what resonates with people best.
