Trying something different
Added 2021-08-31 16:31:02 +0000 UTCI went for a serious and realistic tone in my last animation, but for this one I want to do the exact opposite. I'm experimenting with styles. This one will have a comedic tone. It will require many characters who will all need to look the same (the simple cartoony style lends itself to this), because it's about how culture reacts to new differences that eventually become old norms and traditions. I'll probably title the animation "How Culture Works". My hope is that it will help people realize that a lot of the cultural norms they find sacrosanct are actually quite arbitrary and trivial, and thus we shouldn't abuse each other over them. You might even call this deviation from my old style a metacommentary.
