Existential Crisis
Added 2021-10-04 19:41:43 +0000 UTCOver the years I have sometimes wondered if maybe I'm too harsh on religion, but after the last few years I've come to feel that I wasn't harsh enough. Just look at all the damage that has been done, the people who have been manipulated, and now millions of people are dead. "Yeah, but because of religion?" you ask? Yes. Atheists are the highest vaccinated group at 90%. Religion fosters a distrust in science and an irrational reliance on God to protect them, even as the stats fly in the face of such an idea. What am I to do? I'm sort of at a loss for how to proceed with my work. I've been so grateful for your support over the years, but I honestly have been feeling defeated, like I've failed people. I know you care about religion's harms too, or you wouldn't be here, so please help me understand. How should I proceed?
