Epic New Bible Animation Coming
Added 2021-11-28 21:37:48 +0000 UTCThis one will probably end up being my longest yet. I'd rather not do it in parts like previous bible animations. I just finished the first draft of the 8 page script. I'm guessing it will be around a half hour of animation unless I can cut some things. I'm really excited for this one, because I haven't done a good old fashioned God & Jeffery bible animation in 2 years!
This one will cover Joshua 1-10, when the Israelites are finally allowed to come and take the land God promised them after escaping Egypt and wandering the desert for 40 years. It begins with their magic crossing of the Jordan (God stops the water so they can walk across the riverbed), and ends with God stopping the sun and moon in the sky (since that region of the earth is 2000 miles north of the equator, it's moving at about 900mph, so the result of stopping the earth should be really fun to animate).
I got out my stack of bibles, with all the relevant verses to cite, consulting the apologetics for any possible answers/arguments, and they're all about as bad as can be expected. Some of them are even worse, like their excuse for God commanding the Israelites to kill children. "Why kill the Canaanite infants?" asks the Quest Study Bible (and everyone else). Because the Canaanites did evil things like...*drumroll*....child sacrifice. Makes perfect sense! Doesn't it?
Expect more updates in December. This one will probably be the grand finale of the year. Thanks for your support, everyone.
