Indoctrination!
Added 2022-04-04 18:52:31 +0000 UTCIn the animation I’m currently working on, I will be addressing the hypocrisy in the recent concerns about childhood indoctrination in schools. A parent will circumcise their baby (permanently alter their genitals without their consent), ritualistically dunk them in water to attach them to their worldview, buy them a baby bible from the local Walmart, send them to Sunday school, take them to a church plagued with pedophilia scandals, give them free access to a book filled with incest, violence, rape, war, torture, gore, and explicit descriptions of sexual acts, let them listen to hateful speech on talk radio or other mediums, AND THEN throw a fit when their child learns what different sexual orientations are or what transgenderism is in a health class at school. They accuse the schools of trying to indoctrinate their child, groom them sexually, or encourage them to transition, which they say entails “genital mutilation”, as if merely learning about the existence of such concepts and people is “encouragement”, as if someone could become gay or transgender simply by learning what it means. Did they ever apply that same logic to learning about the many crimes and atrocities taught in history class? Of course not. This is about fear mongering and bigotry. Thus, I am compelled to lambaste them. So, I shall.
Besides what I mentioned here, what are some other ways children are indoctrinated into religion?
