My Best Yet
Added 2022-06-11 17:42:56 +0000 UTCI made the following post on my YouTube channel. Normally, this would be for Patrons and YouTube members only, but because I've had to go so long without uploading on my channel, I thought it important to put something there as well.
I think this will be my favorite animation (I can't stop watching it even though it's not done yet lol). After working on it for two months, early next week it will be ready to upload. This is the longest I've gone in over a decade without uploading anything, which hurts the channel, but I think it will be worth it in the long run. This work will be seen for many years to come, will become a major part of my legacy, and I will be proud to have my name attached to it. I pushed my ability as a visual artist, animator, director, writer, and even as an actor (though ShannonQ voiced the main character, and she did an amazing job!). I started working on the final scene today, then I will do the credits, which include Patreon and YouTube members as producers. You still have a chance to be included, to have your name on it for all the years to come (https://www.patreon.com/DarkMatter2525). And it would help me out a lot. This video, like most of my videos, is a critique of religious belief, but unlike the others, I use a religion I made up to convey critiques that apply to most religions. I think this will make it more sharable and accessible to religious people who should probably watch something like this, but who would otherwise be offended hearing critiques of their own religion, which may cause the triggering of their defense mechanisms. This is sort of meant as a foot in the door. Besides all that, though, I mostly wanted to make an interesting and unique story, and I think I succeeded.
