2023-08-24 14:59:58 +0000 UTCYou could setup an alternate email address (say, as a proton.me account), and then provide *that* email address on all job applications. That way any job offer which does *not* arrive that new email account is immediately suspicious. I would suggest an iCloud "Hide Me" account, but with that setup you get an userid which is two random words and a few random characters. That's not as easy to work with if you need to provide it to a lot of people, especially if you will sometimes need to tell someone your email address over the phone.
