Fun With Shorts Turns 20!!

Hereβ€˜s the first look at my 20th anniversary video! I reached deep into my ailing memory for this not-quite-exhaustive reminiscence of all things FWS. Keep an ear out for a tease about an upcoming Patreon-exclusive follow up.

Thanks for your support all these years, friends. It continues to be an absolute hoot.

I'm glad I ordered what shorts DVDs I could afford, when I did, when I could.

I loved that you worked with Agonywolf. I support them, too, since "Lady Frankenstein." :)

Josh, I don't know if I'll ever understand MST3K fans reacting angrily to others riffing. Were they afraid you'd pull viewers away? They're definitely not economists or even business majors, but haven't they noticed how competing auto dealerships locate in clusters? I've always loved discovering new riffers. Every Friday night, I skip out on MST3K premiers to be one of the loyal roughly half dozen who show up on Twitch for Down in Front Live (out of Chicago). I struggle to keep up with all the great content, but it's a happy struggle. :)

Oh yeah, thanks!

Bus Nut is still a favorite of mine. Can't wait to hear more about your time with Rifftrax. I still have many iRiffs saved on my hard drive. Wonder where many of the others went. Congrats on 20 years!

"J-Men Forever" is a film I can watch endlessly...love the Firesign Theatre. Also a fan of Agony Wolf Media (feel like you and Rikk end up working yourselves ragged) since the ICWXP days. As for a physical medium service, horror host Mr. Lobo of Cinema Insomnia and OSI74 (they're both here on Patreon) has been creating DVDs and Blu-rays through some service; you might hit him up. Also, many of his Cinema Insomnia discs are available at Oldies.com, & I don't know if they offer a deal to creators (probably giving them distribution rights for the discs, but who knows). Anyway, good luck.

I've really enjoyed and still go back and re-watch several of the releases under "Fun with Flicks", particularly "Laser Mission" and "Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet". πŸ‘ Always fun to watch Basil Rathbone and Faith Domergue being grafted into somebody else's movie!
