I never feel like I'm improving but not as much as I'd like ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ there's literally always work to be done when you're working on a comic so there's little time to be doing studies </3 the comic is gonna pick up relatively quickly bc I have a lot of storybeats already planned out, the problem is how to string them together to make it make sense narratively.. so much of season 3 is gonna be flashbacks and Idk abt u guys but I HATE reading flashbacks in a comic ๐ญ so I always try to do weave flashbacks in with the present story to make it more engaging.. Hopefully it'll work for season 3 as well, but if I flop please forgive me also.. I really am trying my best

2024-04-27 23:14:51 +0000 UTCI HATE WHEN A STORY HAS TO COME TO A STOP BC THERES A FLASHBACK.. if theres a flashback scene i will try to at least show some current plot points but ive only had one episode thats ALL flashback and i hated drawing every minute of it ๐ญ๐ญ it just feels so lame to me to stop the plot just bc i didnt foreshadow things better.. but a flashback is really good at drawing parallels so i usually use small flashback scenes instead of like .. a whole episode just for the flashbacks ๐ข im not saying its not a good narrative story device its just not for me cause i literally stop reading things if im stuck in a flashback for too longormfk
