Ep 8 5050 Script
Added 2022-06-11 15:24:26 +0000 UTCI promise I'm drawing episode 2 as we speak but here's the script for episode 8!
[Dylan turns around the corner to see Matt and Jackie having a conversation. Jackies laughing at something he said. Matt looks up and makes eye contact with Dylan. He waves.]
Matt: Hey, kiddo.
Dylan: Are you Matt, Zhen's roommate?
Matt: In the flesh. Did Zhen text you about me picking you up?
Dylan: Yeah.
Matt: Sick, ready to go?
[Dylan nods. Matt looks back to Jackie and winks. Jackie giggles.]
Matt: It was nice meeting you.
Jackie: Nice to meet you too.
[Dylan looks nervously between them and then follows Matt out the door. They come up to a nice looking car and get in. ]
Matt: That front desk girl's cute.
Dylan: I've been trying to get Zhen to ask her out.
Matt: For real? Wait, that's her? Zhen told me you've been trying to hook her up with some girl from work?
[Dylan immediately perks up.]
Dylan: Her name's Jackie. She comes into the store all the time and they seem like they have really good conversations!
Matt: Mm. And Zhen's being a big stick in the mud huh? I definetely think she'd be happier with a girlfriend, but who wouldn't right?
Dylan: I don't know, I just haven't seen her smile like that with anyone before.
Matt: Aw that's cute she's smiling? At work? Rare.
Dylan: Yeah, and with everything that happened... You know.
[Dylan looks out the window sighing. Matt nods knowingly.]
Matt: She hasn't really been the same since.
Dylan: I just want her to be happy.
Matt: You and me both, kid.
[They drive for a bit, Dylan staring out the window until Matt says,]
Matt: Wanna get ice cream?
[Dylan perks up.]
Dylan: Really?
Matt: You ever been to Danny's?
Dylan: I love Danny's Dinomite ice cream!
Mattt: Danny's Dinomice cream.
Dylan: Ice cream Ice cream Ice cream!
[It shows their car pulling up to the ice cream shop and ends there.]
