5050 Ep 3 Script

I decided to just make these $5+ tier posts because I've actually been writing alot and I want it to be a surprise for people. Here's episode 3. You might recognize some of it lol.

[Zhen pulls out her phone receiving text messages from Dylan that reads, "Can you pick me up from Art Class?" and Zhen replies "Rn?". Dylan replies "Ya lol.". Cut to Zhen sighing and looking up from her phone only to realize Jackie is sitting at the front desk. Jackie looks up from the computer.]

Jackie: Oh hello, Zhen! What are you doing here?

Zhen: Hey, uh. I'm here to pick up my cousin.

Jackie: What's their name?

Zhen: Dylan Bennett.

Jackie: Oh I know Dylan! I just met her officially today! She works at 5050 too right?

Zhen: Yeah. She's new.

[Jackie calls for Dylan Bennett on a walkie talkie]

Jackie: So do you do any art?

Zhen: Not really. Dylans kind of the artsy one in our family.

Jackie: She's very talented! She showed me some of her stuff during my break.

Zhen: Yeah, she's pretty good. Uh, do you do art?

Jackie: I dabble in photography sometimes but I can't draw to save my life.

Zhen: Photography huh? Like dark room stuff?

Jackie: Yeah! They have one here! I used to only do digital, but I just recently got into film!

Zhen: That's pretty cool. I had a friend who used to be into film photography. She-

[Zhen stops talking because she sees Dylan trying to hide behind a wall]

Zhen: Dylan. What are you doing?

[Dylan peeks around the corner and tries to act nonchalant]

Dylan: Me? Nothing. Just admiring this wall here. Really nice paint job.

Zhen: Are you ready to leave?

Dylan: Yeah, but-

Zhen: Then lets go. 

[Zhen turns back to Jackie]

Zhen: See you around.

Jackie: It was nice talking to you!

[Zhen turns and walks out the door, not waiting for Dylan]

[Zhen is heading towards her car and Dylan trails behind her.]

Dylan: Zhennn cmonn I wasn't evesdropping, I just heard a little and thought I could take my time a bit.

Zhen: Dylan, some of us have things to do.

Dylan: I'm sorry! But can you believe she just started working here today? It's like a sign! From the higher ups!

[Zhen sighs. They clamber into her car and she starts to drive away.]

Zhen: Does Aunt Katie know I'm picking you up today?

Dylan: Yeah, she had to work late again and dad's out of town so I told her I'd ask you.

[They pass by an old ice cream shop.]

Dylan: Hey, wanna get ice cream from Danny's? For old time sakes?

Zhen: Not right now, I gotta get home.

Dylan: Alright, maybe another time...?

Zhen: Maybe.

[Zhen continues to drive in silence. Dylan looks sad as they drive away.]
