Monthly Update - May 2019

Lots of stuff to go over. I really didn't want to make this feel like I'm looking for sympathy or trying to vent. I'm a very independent person and like to handle my personal problems privately. I just want you guys to understand where I'm at and why I feel it is necessary to take some steps back. If you have questions for me I'll be sure to answer below.

Honestly I think you should scale down even further. Why not just focus 100% on the videos and do them at your own pace? More free time and a stronger focus might be more optimal for growth and revenue.

Hey man, do what you need to. Take it easy for a while and come back to doing stuff if you feel like it is the right time to do so.

Hey Mike, not a very active member lately but I still watch all videos and podcasts. Just wanted to say, I've always thought you did too much especially because this is not your full time job. We appreciate the hard work and content but your health is our #1 priority. Get some rest and rethink your projects! I suggest pausing everything that requires a weekly commitment such as streaming - at least to start with. Focus on your actual job, relationships, and the main RA videos. PS I'd be happy to guest in the pod haha.

Between Patreon, Twitch and YouTube, you put out far more content than any other YouTuber I have supported.. Aside from, perhaps Lorerunner, but he sleeps in his living room and drinks protein shakes for dinner to be able to afford YouTube as his only job.. Not the bar to shoot for. What I'm trying to say is, I think this is a good move.

Absolutely put your health first mike👍 ive got a few ideas if your interested, first, ever thought about bringing more people on to the video creation side of th3 channel, or even merging with another channel? That would definitely help take the load of your shoulders, as barret would say, in th3 long term. And with regard to streams, if you have a small enough audience, u can always invite them into a voice call! Really solves the problem of keeping up with chat, which i personally hate. And lastly, as a 5 $ patreon, id love to appear on the show! (Obviously completely understand if you dont want too). Im in the falcom channel on the server if you ever want to find me!

You should definitely take some time away to rest and recuperate. Your family and health should come first, sir. Don't ever feel that you need to apologize for that. Most people don't understand the amount of work required in content creation.

Hope everything will be well Mike. You've done some of the best work on Youtube, don't ever feel guilty, you've done your part. Take a break, take down the workload and I'm sure everyone will be understanding. Family is always number 1.

No problem here - you sound worn out and we know your schedule has been ridiculous these past few years. I love the podcast and I love the youtube videos you make - if the rest of your work has to go away, so be it. To think you're also writing a novel, etc on top of your own personal life, etc - it sounds like a unsustainable schedule.

Hey Mike, 100% support your need to step back. Your health and relationships are more important than anything else! Definitely praying for your father. My support is here regardless!

Your mental health and overall well-being is more important than this YouTube channel, Mike. I'll support you and the Resonant Arc team no matter what action you take and you shouldn't feel guilty about scaling back your duties/responsibilities. Do whatever is necessary to regain that balance in your life and your father will be in my thoughts and prayers. I've been where you are right now and it isn't fun but just keep reminding yourself that it is always darkest before the dawn. Things will get better and you should do whatever it takes for you to be less stressed.

Mike, you sound like you need to take some time out and get your head straight. Everyone needs a break from time to time. Appreciate your honesty, it takes a lot to be so open about how you’re feeling. I’ll be continuing to support you through your tough times as yourself and Casen are my favourite entertainers, I absolutely love the podcast and look forward to every new episode. Seriously, you do what you gotta do because your family and your mental health are top priority man.
