Baltar is a selfish prick but he did know about Gaita's passing information to the resistance and kept it secret from the Cylons. He knew too much info that he wasn't around to get from Tyrol after the fact and he didn't learn it from the Cylon's because they didn't know about Gaita's resistance dead-drop.All the Cylon intel on the resistance came from Ellen...RIP... Also, Caprica-6 was undercover as a defense contractor iirc. She cozied up to Baltar for access but she wasn't just random hotty. She helped him write some of the code on his current project. His assumption of her motive was that she wanted access to sensitive data to get a favorable government contract or maybe some sort of corporate espionage, not cyborg hottie back for revenge against the human race. He figured he was using her for sex and she was using him for access, but they both fell in love, which is wild. Anyway, Baltar is a dick but he wasn't a collaborator until New Caprica and even then, he did what he felt he could while keeping himself safe. He is no hero but he also wasn't a villain really, just a narcissistic, douchey, sex-pest.

What they would do guided LSD to make their prisoner rely on them as a lifeline in the drug-induced state. It was one of the project of m k ultra that made it through testing, i became actual use in the c.I a not like the one when they tried to teach a dolphin english.

Baltar's attachment to Caprica and by extension, the other Cylons was the only thing keeping the Cylons from nuking the settlement. All she seems to care about is optics and does not care/understand consequences.

2025-10-02 18:32:59 +0000 UTCI've mentioned before but there's a specific line later on that seems to get more and more meaningful the more I rewatch this. After this episode you'll probably notice it when it happens XD You're actually conflating something. Remember early in season 1 we had 6 show up with video footage of her and Baltar in the defence main frame, but that was confirmed to be doctored. However in (I think) the first episode Caprica 6 does confirm that Gay-ass gave her access to the mainframe. So we don't know that they were ever actually there at the same time, much less had sex on it (though that is a funny idea).
