Appreciate IT School. The Stephen King of TV and movies, Mike Flanagan, is doing both Carrie and King's magnum opus, The Dark Tower, as Prime Video series. So the lore will only go deeper.

2025-11-12 15:23:47 +0000 UTCAs Suraj mentioned, there’s real life religious mythology of a World Turtle, also elephants, and illustrations show both, so the pulled up image is probably that, not Maturin. But close enough I desperately want Maturin to appear. In the book one of the kids astrally meets him while facing IT and he gives him advice on how to fight IT. And he hasn’t been in any adaptation!
