They Have Come For Us! (And September Vote Results)

The Fantasy vote results are in. So the Witch King of Angmar took the top spot this month and the Monty Python Spanish Inquisition suggestion got a decent amount of votes as well. Since these were the two clear standouts, I'll include them in next month's queue including the long delayed Dragonslayer Orstein and an original character that is TBD.

And to cap off this month, here are the final goodies for Grimdark month! As usual, the majority of the Grimdark WIPs are not on Patreon anymore.  But community members can still access the latest WIPs as mentioned in previous posts.  Just to be thorough, community members will receive an email with the access information as well.

Jain Zar and her banshees come screaming onto the battlefield with whole onslaught of weapons and poses. In all the media I've seen them in, the Howling Banshees are very fast and in motion so I tried to make their poses reflect that dynamisism. They also come with a bunch of weapon options which are modular as I mentioned earlier this month. That means you can mix and match the arm combinations that you prefer including a shuriken pistol. For Jain Zar, I decided to alter her throwing star into a giant razor sharp yo-yo because that looks wicked. But, I'll have a version where she's holding it as well.

And for the Night Lord fans, you're in for a treat because I went all out and included a bunch of extra units to cover your tactical options. Heavy Bolter, Plasma Cannon or Melta Gun, Assault Squad, you name it, it's there. I'm not showing all the combinations but like the Howling Banshees, you can mix and match all you want. 👍

And finally, this month's bonus reward will be proxies for the Atramentar, the Night Lords first company elite and Sevatar's muscle. Sevatar himself very rarely wears Terminator armor but he has been shown fighting in it to remind the Atramentar who's their boss. One notable example was when Sevatar and the Atramentar went around enforcing Curze's decree to exterminatus Nostramo after he decided their homeworld was a lost cause.

Basically, they went from ship to ship to make sure everyone was doing their job and to blow off the heads of crew member that got cold feet. Now that's what I call hands on management! 😄 Interestingly, the Atramentar only answer to Sevatar and have ignored other claimants, basically disbanding after their 1st Captain disappeared during the Horus Heresy.

Anyways, I'm off to get everything prepared so I'll wrap up the post here here. As usual everything I posted this month will be in the October release which will be detailed in the public post.
