Terry, What The Hell?! (Sci Fi WIP)

More updates are here with fan favorite Terry (after Bryce version)! I'm going to keep some Grimdark style ship updates from this WIP off of patreon for Angry Company reasons. But community members can still access the latest WIPs as mentioned in previous posts.  Just to be thorough, community members will receive an email with the access information as well.

So as I mentioned in the last post, Terry is a new character in episode 3 and he comes in two versions (before Bryce and after Bryce). 😅 I know I'm being very vague but the joke's only funny if you watch the episode (and if you like Space King in general). I think it's best just to watch the episode for full context. Also included both versions of the mysterious Robed Psycho Warrior from the episode.

And now for something completely different. So when Space King content comes up in Sci Fi month, I need to do something to cover up a slot they'd normally take publicly. This is usually when I try and pick one of the queued items (stuff that's won in polls but didn't have time to fit in).

Now, as many long time community members know, I am not a fan of the T'au and resent the screen time they hog up which could have been used by the Space Marines. I'm also continuously outraged at how their lore and technology seems to be powered entirely by dairy products (who decided they could shoot things offscreen in DOW1, who?!).

But like I said, I needed something to cover Space King's slot and the T'au Manta was something that has been waiting to be done for awhile. And while it's one of the T'au's cheesiest units (mass transport capabilities AND titan grade weaponry?), it's also paradoxically one of the easiest things to design as it's essentially a flying pancake (Ha!).

But hey, there's a fanbase for them so I went ahead and did it this month. I'm not showing all versions on this post but my proxy will have all features you'd expect from the Manta including the transport capability. You will also be able to customize the weaponry mounted on its hull. Plus I also included a more lore accurate logo for them as well. 😄 Don't worry Star Wars fans, I'll still be including Darth Nihilus this month but the flying pancake was easier to get done for this WIP.

Next up is one of my childhood favourites, the original OP character Optimus Prime! Oh yeah, nothing beats the G1 series and as far as I'm concerned, G1 Optimus was the GOAT. 👍 Love everything about the original version of Optimus, and the original G1 movie still holds a special place for a lot of us fans. 😊 As with all my Transformers, I generally try to stick to the G1 style as much as possible but adding the incredibly advanced technological components you'd expect a Cybertronian to have. Truck option will come later but I got his design and blaster done for now.
