Morning Snuggles (Short flash fiction)

You feel a kiss planted on your forehead. "Good morning, darling!" she whispers in your ear. The yellow morning sun warms your cheeks, as a blush spreads across them. You blink sleepily, and murmur a reply. Suddenly, her hands on your chin guide your face to meet hers. With ruffled bedhead, freckles, and big blue eyes, she grins. "You slept like a baby" she remarks, planting a kiss on your lips.

Then she guides you onto your side, and wraps her legs over your hips. Her arms wrap around your chest, as she pulls you close to her body. You feel her soft breasts squishing into you. You giggle. "Whatcha laughing at?" she teases, kissing up your neck and tickling her fingers under your ribs. "Noothing!" you protest, but she launches into tickling you. You giggle and squirm until she stops and kisses you deeply.

"Darling, do you want to let your mind go fuzzy for me?" she asks, stroking her fingers down your cheeks. You smile, and nod gently, your body already relaxing to her touch. "Shhhh, good pet" she coos, her hands now stroking down your neck and back. "That's right" she smiles and nods to you, "Just give into it." Your eyes flutter shut, and your head swims with fuzzy feelings. Your thoughts become abstract. More feelings of warmth, and safety. Her voice sliding into your ears. Her fingers tracing on your skin. You give in, and fall into a warm darkness. You have no thoughts. You feel home.

"3. 4. 5. Aaand Wide Awake!" Your eyes flash open. You are in your room. The morning sun warms the bedsheets your lying on. She smiles at you.

"So, breakfast?"

"Pancakes."

"Excellent."
