It’s the colours inspired by salmon, the perspective, the gestures… or maybe it’s this casual encounter between two potential young lovers. In the first few hours, I was sure of only one thing: there would be orange in this illustration. But the process of discovery led me to the rest.
It’s true—when creating art, you don’t always know what you’re doing. Sometimes it’s frustrating. But sometimes, happy accidents like this happen.

After reading this post I realized that’s an area I’m sorely lacking in. Color understanding. I just don’t think in color. I like color work but I don’t know how to combine color into my art process.
