Even though it doesn't look like much, I got recommended an awesome shader for blender which was EXACTLY the right thing at the right time.
My older models are too janky to meet my current eye's standards... It's been a huge issue on my mind these past few months. Really, I just had to get over myself and learn how to make art that is just better looking, and closer to what people want to see. It's not a matter of literal realism, it's a matter of evoking the feeling. I was being really stubborn... And avoiding difficult practice xwx
So this is a subtle change to my style with huge potential. It means I can animate more and faster, especially when I'm able to do backgrounds quickly, and in a matching style. Now I don't need to spend hours and hours redoing my old characters; I can get by animating with what I got.
I can make more stuff still, and easier. I'm working hard to build the framework and skills to cultivate a future where others can collab with me, and I can make more and more animation faster. I want to make a ton of funny, entertaining, kinky and non-kinky animation for furries like you and me.
Doesn't really apply much to my VRChat models, aside from me having improved substantially in this more quiet period of posting. I have been working nonstop on numerous projects, and picking up where I left off on others. This is going to be a super exciting year for my artwork!!
