Wow, I hate javascript

Spent 5 days just trying to get the starting screen working. Had to redesign it 5 times because I foolishly tried to have BOTH js and HTML working together, both accessing the saveFile, with mouse-interaction... So, a 5 hour job in Flash became 5 days.. Then I spent 2 days fixing a non-existent error... that can't be fixed... because it doesn't exist... because js somehow resolves an int as both === 1 and != to 1 at the same time! Joyous! So, after 2 days of this nonsense, I gave up and just wrote an idiotic HACK to get around javascript being a total ass. The worst part is this is not predictable or determinate. 95% of the time, there is some logical reason for the error, so it makes sense to spend time looking for a fix, but 5% of the time, it's like the code is just possessed or something. (or the debugger is broken, and not showing me what is REALLY happening)

So, not feeling confidant I can get the game ready if this absurdity keeps up, but being delusional, I will continue on! I guess I did get an extra week to work on the game since covid cancelled Christmas... again... for the THIRD year. This isn't going to lead to a societal revolt at all...

So, the images aren't much new to look at but here is the working start page. Buttons work and I set the skin-color as optional and the bonuses are chosen below:

and the working story-mode with your girlfriend. Story progresses when you do the required actions, and you can re-read messages now. The random quests from perverts will unlock after the story is finished.

I also added the female cum ability. The code works, but I still have to draw the female-orgasm animation.

Next week I MUST get the sound working. haven't even started on that, so no idea what problems I'll encounter yet. If that goes well, I'll add the finishing touches to the art: hands and rubbing: back, bum, pussy... mostly.

That is the bare minimum I need to have a working game. if I still have time, I'll try getting the medals working. Next post is on Christmas day, after we're opened all our presents!
