The Christmas Gift of SPREADING DEMOCRACY - Trying something for December’s polls

For the last year or so participation in my weekly polls has been limited just to SubStar, because Patreon, as with so many NSFW things, can be really weird and unpredictable about rule enforcement - and they even have flagged scene suggestions for the polls in the past if there was some spicy term in the text their automated moderation didn’t like. So to play it safe, I took the polls to SubStar only.

I’ve felt kinda bad about all the Patreon supporters not getting any say in the polls, though. So for the month of December, I’m going to try a way to let the Patrons participate in the polls too! If it works well, I’ll make it a permanent change heading into 2026.

How the December (and possibly future polls) will work:

-The Scene Suggestions post for the week’s poll will go up on Sunday night, as usual - for SubStar only. SubStar subscribers will be able to suggest scenes for the poll based on the week’s theme.

-As usual, on Tuesday at noon EST I will pick three scene suggestions for the weekly poll (based heavily on Like count for the ideas) - and here is where the change will happen: the poll will go up on both Patreon AND SubStar.

In other words, Patrons can’t suggest scenes directly, but they will at least be able to vote for which idea they want drawn that week.

On Wednesday, when the polls close, I will add up the results from both sites. I will share the total counts for both sites with subs across sites so they can see that Contingency Inc™️ is counting the votes correctly (TRANSPARENCY IS OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU, DEMOCRACY PARTICIPATOR)

So that’s what we’ll try this month! There’ll be two Christmas polls, one this week (femboy themed) and one next week (MILF themed) to try this on, and I’ll take any feedback into consideration on whether to keep it going in January.
