New Story Chapter
Added 2018-08-08 11:01:25 +0000 UTCAlright guys, I've been pretty hard at work coming up with new material for stories lately and as a result I have two projects that I'm working on simultaneously. Well, three if you count the ST sequel that I'm playing around with. Personally, it's hard for me to juggle multiple stories at a time because I end up neglecting one or the other, so I'm going to let you decide which you would rather read first instead!
The first option is A Rift in Time and Space - or ARITAS. The story is about time travel - kinda - and that concept of, 'if I could go back and change a part of my life, would I?'. Honestly, this story is going to end up more sappy than smutty I think but it should be a fun story, full of made up science and an awkward protagonist.
The second option is Focus. If you'll allow me the indulgence, I want to explain a bit about the drive behind this idea. I read a story recently about football and how it brought the two leads together but more than that, the author managed to make the sport of football a character almost and it was fantastic. Now, as you could probably gleam from Trifecta and Where the Heart Is, I love skateboarding. in those stories it was merely a piece of the backdrop though, not exactly right at the forefront. Focus is my attempt to do that in a new story about a hotshot rookie pro aiming to be the best in the business and the team photographer that catches her eye. That's putting it in a really shallow way but it's what I got right now.
Both of these stories will feature a character from one of my past stories in it at some point -- I'm all about that connected 'verse right now haha -- so there's that going for them too. It's still in the early stages on both projects so there's not much else I can share yet.
