Added 2019-03-12 18:59:18 +0000 UTCYou guys couldn't just pick a clear winner could you? Well, even though it ended in a three way tie, my editor and I are at least happy to see that both of our favorite chapters were picked. Hers was two and mine was four.
I did say that I would talk a bit about that, didn't I? Mostly I loved chapter four because it's where we start to see the movement in Trent for the better. Making decisions that aren't so selfish or cowardly or just plain bitchy and instead starting to really form as a character. Also I really loved having both a quick HoneyBear scene and a really honest scene with Brad. I feel like Brad's opinions on being closeted are something that a lot of people in the LGBT community -- including myself -- can relate to on some level or another; even if no one likes that it's a truth, sometimes hiding away is a little easier for everyone. Bullshit but it happens.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed getting a little insight on this and thanks a ton for the people that participated in the poll. It actually helps to know what you guys are enjoying from my work!

Very late on posting this, but I enjoyed the chapters where Trent finally stopped being so stubborn, and became more friendly toward Brad; I'm not sure if I can say they're friends just yet, and despite being so initially hostile towards him, he never got to the point where he intentionally would out Brad. It sounds like they live in a liberal city, and the people there could be generally accepting of it, but being deliberately outed could still destroy both Brad's career and life; a lot of closeted individuals have taken their own lives, cause they weren't ready to come out, so someone else made them come out (mostly out of spite).
