Underrated Characters
Added 2019-03-17 16:40:58 +0000 UTCSo I was having a discussion a bit ago about some of my kids -- my characters, for anyone that's new -- and I started bringing up a lot of points about one of my mains that's popular but in my opinion, highly underrated. It got me thinking about some of my other characters that are kind of underrated for one reason or another, so now I'm asking you, who do you think is the most underrated, underappreciated or undeserved? Vote -- and if you want to comment -- at the end of the week I'll share who my favorite underrated character is!

I selected one that is not listed, Wren, from This New Thing. I admit this was a tough choice because I like all the characters listed, but I feel this story does not get enough recognition. The depth of her character shines as she helps Aubrey overcome her frustrating relationship with Skyler and find the meaning of a true loving relationship. Although it seems it is not as popular as the others listed, I truely enjoyed this story.

2019-03-18 05:38:17 +0000 UTCThis is so hard, while Valerie made a very good case for Alex, I am going to choose Katie because I love Where the heart is and Katie and Lil are favourites of mine. There are lots of reasons why I've chosen her, but it's the place in my heart she holds that is the main one and I always want more of her.

Agree as well she definitely is patience herself and always knows the right thing to say. Also an absolute fan of Malex, so in this case Alex, is one of my favorite characters as well, therefore it would be interesting to see her "world"! As I'm not making a lot of comments I'll leave a big thank you as well to you Kenna - thank you for sharing your "private little world/kids" with us, your stories are very much appreciated here! =)

The gap years in the relationship between Alex and Marley in Trifecta are told in a way that we as readers have an idea what Marley did during them. But not Alex. I think she is underappreciated in the respect that she had a hand in shaping who Marley became as an adult. But we never got the opportunity to see how Marley helped shape who she became. I think there is a whole story there with Alex just waiting to be told. She is one of my favorite characters. In my opinion, she shows such patience and strength of character. I think she's worthy of her own story. Thank you for your time. And thank you for sharing your kids with us. I love them all, but always have a soft spot for Marley and Alex.
