The Grand Re-Launch!

Okay, so there's a lot that I need to cover today so bear with me on this long(ish) post.

First things first, why all of the changes? A perfectly acceptable question, 'cause if it ain't broke why should I go fixing it, right? Well, as I mentioned in my previous update, I've been wanting to do a face-lift on Patreon for awhile. My overall hope is that it'll make things easier for you to find the content that you want and easier for me to create it for you as well.

So, that being said, the biggest change some of you may have noticed is tiers. Patreon's made some changes recently and it's kind of been decided that having three tiers is really the way to go, so I've made a few tweaks to the way the tier benefits stack up. Make sure to check the different benefits for each tier so you know that you're getting exactly what you want. Also, it's worth noting that the highest tier I have now is $7. That doesn't mean that you can't pledge more than $7, that's just my highest tier with benefits. So, if you're in the $10 tier I had before and you want to continue to pledge that much, you'll still get everything the $7 tier gets and maybe even some more exclusive goodies if there's enough support.

Another thing I want to touch on really quick is epubs. I should have a post that released around the same time as this update with all of my main books in both epub and pdf formats. I know that some of y'all have been asking for it and I really want you to know that I'm listening to your requests. 

Something else that's new to this update is playlists. For my $3 and above pledge, I have custom playlists for each of my books on spotify for you to go and check out and I'll be adding more playlists to accompany all of my upcoming stories as well. All you need is a free account to listen, and it only takes a minute to set up if you don't already have one. It feels worth mentioning that these go beyond just simple playlists to accompany a story. Music is a really big part of my process and the playlists I craft for my stories tell as much about my characters as the words on the page do, so if you're particularly interested in Sweet Tooth or Trifecta, consider checking out its accompanying playlist to dive a bit deeper!

Okay, last but not least, podcasts. For anyone that's taken my recent survey/poll or been on twitter, you might have seen that there's been a bit of talk brewing about podcasts lately. It's something that I really want to do and -- fingers crossed -- it's something I'll be able to give to you sooner than you might think. I would really like the chance to delve deeper into my stories, have other queer/indie authors on to talk about their work and possible even have one of you patrons on to interview me! There's a lot that could open up for content, so I'm pretty damn excited to get it rolling.

Alright, whew, I think that's everything. I know, it was a lot of info to swallow, but I'm hoping that with some of these changes, things will start to move a little smoother moving forward. Before I go though, I wanna just shout out a big thank you to all of the patrons that have been with me since my rocky start. You guys are the reason why I get to do what I love and I love y'all from the bottom of my heart for it.
