3. Uncomfortable - Chase Atlantic: This is one of my favorite Trent songs, hands down. The scene where Trent dips out to take a smoke break while he's supposed to be shopping with Zoe and Bree and we get to see that ridiculous level of stress and tension about to explode.

8. Someday - Two Door Cinema Club: Trent deals with a lot of uncertainties about Brad in this chapter and every time that pops up I think about this song.
9. Call My Name - Unlikely Candidates

11. Better - Khalid: The whole scene with Brad in this chapter. It's the perfect amount of sweet and sensual with this overlying sadness that this isn't everything it appears to be.

13. Broken Crown - Mumford and Sons: Trent and Bern's fight. Trent has a lot of pent up shit that he needs to deal with and this is one of the first explosions that starts that ball rolling. A lot of the lyrics in this song could be interpreted as metaphors for Trent's siblings and the weight he feels has been put on him.
14. Growing Old is Getting Old - Silversun Pickups: The bar scene with Zoe and Trent where things get broken down and shit gets emotional. That was the scene I had planned from the moment I knew that I wanted to use this song for this playlist. It's always been a really clear scene for me to see.

16. Too Far Gone - Sir Sly: The whole bar scene with Evie and Rebecca. I think this song does a good job showing someone who's wrestled with being good enough and falling short and those lyrics reflect back on Trent exceptionally well.
17. Who Do You Love - Marianas Trench: The moment that Trent realizes what he really wants out of his life, which inevitably leads him back to Brad. There's a good line that basically sums it up for Trent. "I'll get my shit back together, get right where I belong. Now who do you love?"
