Prototype maps like these will normally only be included in the Chibbin Duke tier, however, as a special little thank you for being so patient with us during our internet issues and also to give you an idea of the new tier changes, we're giving everyone full access to all content of the first new map!
Hey folks!
At long last, we finally have our internet back!
Here are the prototype maps for Map 001!
This huge 34x84 map splits up into 10 bite-size chunks of varying sizes (See .rar file attached), shifting between top down floor views and side views of vertical trunk-like intersections.
This map is inspired by a much-loved video game by us here at Chibbin Grove so it has been a lot of fun to develop! Bonus points if you can guess the game!
Remember, this is a prototype, so it is not finely tuned and even when this post is being made, it is being changed and refined.
Expect to see some WIP posts of these changes soon! I will go into more detail then about the inspiration behind it and updates on it's workflow.
You may notice there are no gridded versions of these maps. This is intentional; all prototype maps will be bare-bones. Grid variants will be included in final map releases.
