Heran Adventures: 005 - Death Tree Hollow
Added 2020-10-06 19:23:37 +0000 UTCUPDATE: Added Death Tree Token for Chibbin Dukes!

We mapped out a large chunk of Dead Folk Pass.

The last poll decided that we will be journeying next into some dangerous territory!

If you head to the centre of Dead Folk Pass you will find a path tinged with an amber-orange glow.
Progressing along this path, if you follow both the glow and the sweet nectar that tickles your nose, you will eventually find yourself gazing upon the deadly Death Tree of Death Tree Hollow.

The Death Tree goes by many names. These include; 'The Eater of Worlds', 'The Consumer of All', 'The Feeder of Harvests' and 'The Reaper of Gifts'.
For most of the year this tree cannot be seen, but when the moon is high and red during the harvest moon, this tree comes to collect. This is also the time when folks come to make deals and offerings to the Death Tree. Making a pact with this being can bear great fruits but if one doesnt give it it's due respects, then they're surely in for a sour time.

If the Death Tree manages to be defeated, the reward for doing so is access to the old Cyclopean Wall behind it. The only way to get through this wall, and into the Mundi of Light that it leads to, is to strike it with the final dying roots of the Death Tree. Would you like to enter this realm?
Whether the Death Tree is defeated or not, you can choose to instead continue through to explore a different area of the Howling Forest.
Or would you rather exit the forest completely and explore another area in Westan?
You could head north into the cold climate of the Pack Hills, Direpeak and Lupis.
Or you could head south to a warmer mediterranean-like climate of Garin City.
Where we go next is up to you; cast your vote below!
