We encountered the deadly Death Tree of Death Tree Hollow.
The last poll resulted in a tie between exploring another area of the Howling Forest and proceeding through the Cyclopean Wall behind the Death Tree, into the realm of the Mundi of Light.
Since the result for the last Heran adventure was a draw between these two options, this adventure reveals another entrance to the Mundi of Light contained in the Howling Forest, that doesn't require having to defeat the Death Tree.
In the south-western region of the Howling Forest, one will find the Tempest Cliffs. It is given this name due to the harsh and persistent storms that plague this part of the forest.
The entrance to the Mundi of Light in this region is only accessible on a seasonal basis; a lunar conjunction occurs on the first Lundi of Pelles/the first Lundi of the Crystal Moon, temporarily subsiding the storms to reveal a time-sensitive gateway into the Mundi of Light.
Any traveller who sets foot into this region of the forest will alert the attention of the 22 Sentries of the Mundi of Light.
If the powers that be within the Mundi of Light deem the travellers unfit, they will set upon them one of these Sentries. If one Sentry fails their mission, all nearby available Sentries will quickly retaliate.
