I've spent the past two weeks or so going hard at a tribute to Wayne Shorter, it's a small thing, but I had fun talking about the music to Infant Eyes.

We do. At least, I do. To me, you achieved exactly what these videos are designed to achieve: augment the musicking experience, from listening to creating. For whatever reason, I didn’t know this tune. In a way, it tells me that I should pay closer attention to Shorter’s solo work. Got some learning to do. And it’s likely to be as satisfying a learning experience as can be. So if it’s a fitting tribute, it’s not because you lionized the musician. It’s because you paid respects to the art.
